Once your order is ready for delivery, the delivery driver will call you to schedule a delivery time. Delivery is only possible on business days (Monday to Friday).

Important: The commissioned delivery driver will deliver your order to the first door of the building. If you live in an apartment building, this means the front door of the building. In other words, they will not carry the items to a different floor. In some cases, the delivery driver may help you carry the order into your home, but this is not required and the driver is simply doing this to be helpful. Your Wastoren cupboard will be delivered as a whole (pallet + order).

The delivery time for our cabinets is dependent on the Colour Collection. For the Signature Colour Collection (White, Beige, Black oak and Natural oak), the delivery time is within 10 working days. 

For the Exclusive Colour Collection, the delivery time is four to six weeks as those cabinets are made to order.

We feel it is important to keep you always informed about the expected delivery date. Therefore, we are making sure that the delivery time on the individual product pages is kept up-to-date at all times. Once you have placed your order, we will inform you about the expected delivery date by email.

Orders with an order value above €825,- will be shipped free of charge. For orders below €825,- a contribution of €49,- to the shipping costs will be charged.

For deliveries to the Wadden Islands, shipping costs are as follows:

• For orders > €825,- shipping costs are €75,- (surcharge)
• For orders < € 825,- the shipping costs are € 124,- (€ 49,- + € 75,- surcharge)

If you would like to receive the cabinets later than the expected delivery time, you can also order the cabinets on call. Indicate in the comments field in the checkout when you would approximately like to receive the goods.

Our customers often ask us about the material used to make the cupboards at Washtower and whether this material is suitable for the combination of weight and vibrations of a washing machine.

Our cupboards are made of high-quality board material (chipboard) with a melamine coating. In developing our cupboards, we conducted a material study to determine the most suitable type of board for the cupboard. As part of this, we contacted various major and well-established European manufacturers of kitchens and bathrooms for information. We learned that all of them use chipboard and not plywood or MDF.

High-quality board material has a high compression strength and consists of fibres. These fibres are most suitable for strong screw connections. This type of material is flexible and the connections won’t break due to vibrations, which will actually be absorbed. MDF, on the other hand, is made of compressed fine sawdust, so the connections will be very vulnerable due to vibrations. MDF is a rigid material that transmits vibrations rather than absorb them. A durable screw connection is not possible with MDF or only in combination with a pre-glued plug.

Our protected cupboard construction makes sure that the cupboard absorbs the vibrations caused by the washing machine. Thanks to the combination of material and construction of the washing machine cupboards at Washtower, we boast the highest quality standard in Europe: TÜV certification. This means that we can claim with pride that our cupboards are 100% safe!

With the soft-closing device, the doors and drawers of the cupboards close gently and noiselessly. This cushioning technique slows down the drawers and doors and then closes them automatically. This makes it much more pleasant to close the cabinet doors.

• The cupboard frame is made of 22 mm (Signature Colour Collection) or 19 mm (Exclusive Colour Collection) thick high-quality chipboard. The top layer is coated with melamine (as used in the kitchen, bathroom and furniture industry) and the edges on the front are protected from scratches and impact damage by edge reinforcement.
• We have also developed a special metal base plate that comes with every basic cupboard. It is placed under the machine and acts as a protective layer: if the machine leaks, the water runs onto the plate and not directly onto the wood. This way, the moisture does not come into direct contact with the cupboard, keeping it protected.
• Thus, our cabinets are moisture resistant but not waterproof. When used in a damp room (e.g. bathroom or basement), it is important that good ventilation is possible, so that the cabinets do not remain in a damp environment for a long time. Good ventilation is defined as: an open window or mechanical ventilation in combination with an open window.

The appliances will be positioned at a height of around 60 cm. This ensures that you do not have to bend while doing the laundry.

The washing machine cabinets are separated in two colour collections. The Signature Colour Collection is available in white (with a white interior) black oak (with a titanium-coloured interior) and natural oak (with a cashemere-coloured interior), and beige (with a beige interior). The colour of the white cupboards is comparable to RAL9016.

The Exclusive Colour Collection is available in anthracite grey, dark green, a walnut wood, dark taupe, sage green (all incl. a titanium-coloured interior of the drawers) and stone grey (incl. a white interior for the drawers).

No, the cabinets are completely open on the back. This makes it easy to connect everything. The drawer unit  and pull-out tray on the WSCS1462 under the washing machine are 60 cm deep, so that you can easily connect everything in a downward direction.

Absolutely. You can make a cut-out wherever you need it. If, for example, you want to have the faucet next to the cupboard, you can make a cut-out in the side of the cupboard for the water supply. The base plate ends at the wall. If the water supply extends slightly above the floor, you can easily make a notch in the base plate for connecting the water supply hose.

• For the WSCS1462, the drain and faucet should preferably be installed at a height of 120 cm.
• For the WSTT185, the drain and faucet should be installed at a height of 60-80 cm.
• Make sure the power cables are at least 10 cm above the drain and faucet. See an example here.
• Regarding the WSTT185, make sure there is enough space for the dryer, preferably at a height of around 120 cm.

Yes! A compact and flat wall faucet fits behind the washing machine. An example can be seen here[LINK]. If you have a different type of wall faucet, there are three options: 

1. You can choose to turn the faucet a quarter of a turn, so that everything stays concealed in the cupboard.
2. You can place the faucet next to the cupboard, so that you can easily access it. 
3. You can install the cupboard 5cm from the wall, so that there is a 10 cm-wide space for pipes. See the technical drawings.

• The installation instructions are always included in "package no. 1".
• With the basic cupboards, the contents of packages no. 1+2 are needed to assemble the cupboard (but this does not have to be done where the cupboard will be placed). The contents of package no. 3 are needed to finish the final components of the cupboard and to place it in its permanent location.
